The dashboard’s Search is one field for everything the server can reach:

On this server: files in your library and your downloads.
Movies & shows: titles from the catalog.
Streams & files: what your plugins offer for those words.
Torrents: from the plugins that list releases.
Live TV: channels, when a live TV plugin is installed.

Names match however they’re spelt: Breaking.Bad, breaking bad and Breaking Bad (2008) find the same thing.

Pasting a link

Paste a web address instead of words and the server reads that page: the videos, playlists, magnet links and .torrent files on it, ready to play or download. Only public addresses are read.

On the TV and phone

Playpex TV and Playpex Mobile search titles, people, videos and links too, with plugins adding their own chips to the results.
