Profiles

A profile for everyone in the house, with its own list, resume points, settings and a PIN.

Profiles are the people on the Who’s watching? screen. A server holds up to 8.

What a profile keeps

Its watch list, history and ratings.
The minute it stopped at in every title, on any screen.
Its settings: the audio language and subtitles played first, playing the next episode, and how Play chooses a source.

Kids profiles and PINs

A kids profile sees only titles for children.

Lock a grown-up’s profile with a PIN: it’s asked before the profile opens on any screen.

Managing profiles

Add, edit and remove profiles from Playpex TV’s Manage profiles, or from the dashboard’s Profiles page.

Profiles and plugins

A plugin that sends what you watch somewhere (Trakt, for example) only sees the profiles the admin switched on for it: dashboard Plugins › the plugin › Profiles.
